The questions we're asked most.
The things travellers actually ask us before they book — what a day includes, what it costs when it runs long, what happens if a flight is delayed, and where we cannot make promises on someone else's behalf.
These are summaries written to be readable. The binding version of every rule below is in our Terms and Conditions, and the details specific to your trip are in your own quotation and confirmation.

Your touring day
What a private day with us actually includes, and where the edges are.
What is a standard touring day?
Up to 10 consecutive hours of private service, in a vehicle matched to your group, with a bilingual driver. It normally begins at your confirmed pick-up time and ends at your final drop-off. It is never a shared bus — the car is yours for the day, and nobody else is on it.
What does the price cover?
The price is per private vehicle for a full touring day — about 10 hours from hotel pick-up — covering your driver, fuel, and door-to-door transport. If a day runs longer than that, an overtime fee applies, and we will always tell you before it does. Entrance tickets, meals, and optional experiences are additional and easy to arrange.
What happens if the day runs longer than 10 hours?
An overtime fee applies, and we tell you before it starts rather than after. In Japan the rate is ¥10,000 per hour. In Korea the rate is confirmed with your quotation. Overtime also depends on driver availability and legal driving limits, so a long extension is not always possible — we will say so at the time.
Is the driver also a tour guide?
Not unless you book one. Our drivers are Filipino-speaking and look after you all day, but a driver's role is safe transport and local know-how — not detailed historical narration, queueing on your behalf, translation inside every venue, or continuous photography. A licensed guide can be added to any tour for the price shown in your quotation, subject to availability.
Can we change the plan during the day?
Yes, within practical limits — that is much of the point of a private car. What we cannot promise is unlimited stops or every destination on a long wish list, because the day is still bound by traffic, parking, attraction opening hours, reservations, weather, and your driver's legal hours. Your driver will tell you honestly what still fits.
Is it suitable for seniors and young children?
Yes. Because the car stays with you all day, there are no long walks between train lines — you rest between stops, and we keep the pace gentle.
Luggage, child seats, and accessibility
The practical details that decide which vehicle we send.
How much luggage fits in the vehicle?
Seat count is not the same as luggage count — a vehicle that seats seven people does not necessarily hold seven large suitcases. Big cases, sports equipment, strollers, wheelchairs, shopping, and multiple child seats all reduce usable passenger space. Tell us what you are carrying when you book and we will match the vehicle to it, or recommend a larger or second car.
Can you provide child seats?
Usually, but they must be requested early. We need each child's age, height, and weight in time to source the right seat, and availability and seat type are not guaranteed until we confirm them in writing. The parent or guardian remains responsible for supervising the child and checking that the child is properly secured.
Can you accommodate a wheelchair or limited mobility?
Often, and we would rather plan for it properly than improvise on the day — tell us early. Wheelchair and mobility-equipment requests depend on vehicle space, terrain, and how accessible each attraction actually is. Unless it has been specifically arranged, our drivers and staff do not provide lifting, transfer, or nursing assistance, so a guest who needs personal physical support should travel with a companion who can provide it.
Airport transfers
Do you track our flight if it is delayed?
Where the information is available publicly, we monitor your flight to time the driver. Treat it as a helpful extra rather than a guarantee: tracking data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. If you are rebooked, change terminal, miss a connection, or fly under a new flight number, tell us directly — that message is what we act on.
How long will the driver wait at the airport?
Your confirmation states the included waiting period, the meeting point, and when billable waiting begins. Waiting beyond the included period may be charged, and may be limited by the driver's next booking. When you choose a transfer time, allow for immigration, baggage, customs, and airport congestion.
What counts as a no-show?
A transfer may be treated as a no-show if you do not appear within the confirmed waiting period, cannot be reached on the contact details you gave us, supplied a flight or hotel detail we cannot use, left the meeting area without telling us, or made your own way without letting us know. A replacement transfer then depends on availability and requires new payment. One message prevents nearly every case of this.
Booking and payment
How do we secure a booking?
For a private tour, a 50% downpayment normally secures your vehicle, driver, and date, with the balance due before the tour. Airport transfers usually require full payment to confirm. Visa assistance, eSIMs, hotels, and tickets are paid in full before work begins or the booking is issued. In peak season or for last-minute requests we may need full payment earlier.
What currency will we be charged in?
Our payment processor is based in the Philippines, so your card is generally charged in Philippine pesos even when we have quoted you in US dollars or another currency for convenience. The amount that counts is the one on your final invoice or payment page. Your own bank or card issuer may add its own exchange rate or foreign transaction fee on top.
How should we pay, and how do we know it is really you?
Only through a payment channel we have given you in writing — our approved bank account, payment link, or card gateway. We will never ask you to send money to an unverified personal account. If a message asks you to pay somewhere unexpected, stop and check with us on our published number or email first. A booking is confirmed only once payment is actually credited and verified; a screenshot or a pending transfer is not yet a confirmation.
Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Can we reschedule or cancel?
Send the request in writing through an official channel — it takes effect when we confirm it, and the time we receive it is what sets the cut-off. The default cut-off is 48 hours before service. Inside 48 hours, on the day, or as a no-show, a private tour is generally non-refundable, because the vehicle, driver, and any reservations are already committed. Rescheduling is subject to availability and any rate difference.
What is not refundable?
Anything we have already committed to suppliers on your behalf — vehicle and driver allocation, hotel and ticket bookings, guides, permits, courier and visa fees, and payment-processing costs. Where we deduct these, we will explain the breakdown. Refunds on hotels, flights, and insurance are limited to what the supplier actually returns to us.
Visa assistance
Can you guarantee our visa will be approved?
No, and no one honestly can. Approval, processing time, requests for extra documents, interviews, passport release, and permission to enter are decided entirely by the embassy, consulate, visa application centre, immigration authority, airline, or border officer. What we provide is consultation, document review, form support, itinerary preparation, and coordination — real help with the process, not influence over the decision.
Are visa fees refundable if we are denied?
Our assistance fee is non-refundable once work has started — document checking, consultation, form preparation, appointment handling, courier handling, or submission. Embassy, visa-centre, courier, translation, and notarial fees follow each provider's own rules. A denial, a withdrawal, a delay, or a change of mind about travelling does not create an automatic refund.
Nomad eSIM
Will the eSIM work on my phone?
Check three things before you buy: that your device supports eSIM, that it is network-unlocked, and that it is compatible with the plan and destination you are buying. If installation fails because the handset is locked, incompatible, restricted by the manufacturer or carrier, or misconfigured, that is outside what we can fix.
Can I get a refund on an eSIM?
Not once the QR code has been delivered, installed, activated, or used — it is a digital product, and delivery is the point of no return. We will consider a refund or replacement for a verified product defect or if we supplied the wrong product, subject to the provider confirming it, provided the problem was not caused by device incompatibility, a locked handset, incorrect installation, a deleted eSIM, expired validity, or local coverage.
Reaching us
When will we hear back after sending an inquiry?
A real person reads every inquiry and replies personally — usually within a few hours, and within 24 hours at the outside. We are reading messages from 7am to 11pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 6pm on Sunday, Philippine time. Our head office in General Santos City is open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm.
Which languages do you speak?
You can talk to our office in English or Filipino, and our drivers in Japan and Korea are Filipino-speaking, which is the whole reason the day feels easy rather than effortful. A licensed local guide can be added where you want deeper explanation at each site.
