Shirakawago Day Trip
A long, scenic day to the thatched-roof village of Shirakawago — a UNESCO world-heritage hamlet in the mountains.
Shirakawago's steep-roofed farmhouses, built to shed heavy mountain snow, look like something from a folktale. It's a long drive, but the village — and the valley around it — is worth every minute.

How the day feels.
This is a long day — roughly four-plus hours each way from Osaka — so most of it is a scenic drive bracketing a few unhurried hours in the village.
Magical under snow in winter and lush in summer; we advise on the best timing for your trip.
Can also be arranged from Nagoya or Kanazawa, which shortens the drive considerably.

What does the price cover?
The price is per private vehicle for the day — your driver, fuel, and door-to-door transport. Entrance tickets, meals, and optional experiences are additional and easy to arrange.
Is it suitable for seniors and young children?
Yes. Because the car stays with you all day, there are no long walks between train lines — you rest between stops, and we keep the pace gentle.
